"In his service, in his coding, and in every journey we took together, he showed us the meaning of dedication and love."

Charles Edward Brown born April 4, 1947. Some in his family called him Eddie and others called him Chaz. After the Peanuts cartoon came out, his favorite was always Charlie Brown and Snoopy. He loved Snoopy and that followed him his whole life. Anytime we saw something with Snoopy we had to get it!

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Brown; his daughter and son‑in‑law, Monique and Tim Phelps, and their children, Sophia and Dexter Phelps; and his son, Michael Brown, along with his granddaughter Cayla Brown and her mother, Megan Sinsley. He is also survived by his brother, John Brown, and his sisters, Helen Patterson and Hallie Larson, as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was a man defined by service—both to his country and to the people he cherished most.

Born with a curious mind and a steady sense of responsibility, he spent time stationed in Japan with the Air Force, an experience that shaped his discipline, worldview, and lifelong appreciation for technology. After returning home, he built a career in computer programming, bringing the same precision and commitment to his work that he brought to every part of his life.

He leaves behind a legacy of dedication, love, and unwavering support. His presence will be deeply missed, but the lessons he lived by—and the memories he created—will continue to guide his family for years to come.

He was a proud US Air Force veteran and will be buried in a VA cemetery. If you would like to donate in his memory please donate to Cure Alzheimer's Fund.
