He came to us in 1951

A son to Richard and Evelyn Brophy

A brother to Richard II and Fred Brophy

He grew strong, and he stood tall

He never backed down. He finished the fight.

He fought for truth. He petitioned for justice.

He lived to be a champion.

 

A meticulous and discerning teacher by day

He instructed generations in the art of welding

At night he hand built speed

And humbled those at the dragstrip on weekends.

 

A handsome husband.

A Top Dad.

A friend and patriot you could count on to do the right thing.

On January 31, 2026 he returned to eternity.

He is a light to guide the way.

An essence that has made this a better place.

Do not shed a tear, he is here in our hearts.
