Michael Allen Carter, beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on April 22, 2026, at the age of 48. Born on November 1, 1977, Michael’s life was marked by both bright moments and difficult chapters, and those who loved him will remember the man he was before life’s challenges took him down a harder road.

Michael had a warm smile, a quick wit, and a way of making people laugh when they needed it most. Michael loved sports especially the Miami Dolphins and always had some random history fact to share with you.

Though the later years brought distance, Michael was always loved by his family. Michael is survived by his children, Gage and Mariah Carter, his sister, Christa Moyer and his niece and nephew along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins, who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. He was preceded in death by his father, James Allen Carter and mother, Michaelene Ann Carter.

A private memorial will be held in his honor at a later date.
