Souvenirs

James Richard Arnold, lovingly known as “Jimmy” or “Jimbob,” passed away peacefully on August 7, 2026, at the age of 64. He was born on April 27, 1962, in Winchester, Indiana, to Geraldine and Donald Arnold.

Jimmy was a man who belonged outdoors. He spent most of his days beneath the sunshine, where he was happiest and most at home. He spent many years working as a waterman, a life that suited his love of being outside and close to nature. Whether working in the sunshine, fishing, hunting, or searching for arrowheads, Jimmy found joy in the simple things and in the freedom of the outdoors.

More than anything, Jimmy cherished the time he spent with the people he loved. His daughter, Brittney, held a particularly special place in his heart, and he treasured every moment with his grandchildren, Liam and Everly. Being surrounded by his family was where some of his greatest happiness could be found.

Jimmy will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, his adventurous spirit, and most of all, the love he had for his family. His memory will live on in the stories shared, the lessons passed down, the days spent outside, and the countless moments that those who loved him will carry in their hearts.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Geraldine and Donald Arnold.

He leaves behind his daughter and future son-in-law, Brittney Arnold and Derek Raudenbush; his cherished grandchildren, Liam Ebling and Everly Davis; his sister and brother-in-law, Robin and Johnny Redmond; two half-siblings; and many nieces and nephews who will continue to carry his memory forward.

Though he may no longer be here to share the sunshine, cast a line, walk the woods, or sit beside the people he loved, the mark Jimmy left on his family will never fade.

**Rest easy, Jimmy. May the sun always shine on you, the waters always be calm, and your next adventure be a good one. You will be deeply missed and forever loved.**
